Education: a key to success

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — Through tuition assistance, a benefit all Airmen are afforded, up to $4,500 a year in tuition costs can be covered. The first step to receiving this benefit is visiting the education center. Barksdale’s Training and Education Center offers information on various programs and services that are available to Airmen.

EFMP hosts dinner with Sparky

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — The Exceptional Family Members Program hosted a Dinner with Sparky the Fire Dog for EFMP families at the Barksdale Airman and Family Readiness Center Oct. 12, 2018. EFMP was created in the early 1980s to help military families with special needs.
