BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- A member of the Barksdale Fire Department instructs Capt. Michael Landry and his family how to properly use a 'tot finder' sticker during Fire Prevention Week outside the Barksdale Base Exchange Oct. 7. A 'tot finder' is placed outside of a child's room so firefighters can locate them inside a home where fire or smoke is present. Tot finders were previously placed outside the home on the child's window, but are now placed below the door handle on the outside of the child's bedroom door.
