Command Post

MISSION: Provide survivable and reliable Nuclear Command and Control (C2) to all levels of the National Military Command System in support of USSTRATCOM’s largest bomber mission and maintain unmatched conventional C2 over Barksdale AFB.

VISION: Produce tomorrow’s leaders and Nuclear C2 professionals that are trained and equipped to execute lethal and effective strategic bomber support with robust Nuclear C2 weapon systems.

PRIORITIES:

• People: Lead a culture of transparency, fairness, and development.
• Mission: Empower Airmen at all levels to own the mission and maintain reliable procedures, avoiding any stovepipes and single points of failure.
• Modernization: Continuously improve the way we train, the equipment and facilities we use, and our SOPs to fight tomorrow’s fight.
• Engagement: Build relations and instill NC2 best practices within the CP and with our mission partners.
