BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- A Barksdale Airman was pronounced deceased by medical officials at a local hospital at approximately 3:00 a.m. Jan 23.
The Airman succumbed to injuries sustained during an altercation at a nightclub in Bossier City, La.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own, and our hearts go out to the Airman’s family and friends in this difficult time,” said Col. Kristin E. Goodwin, 2nd Bomb Wing commander.
The Airman's name will be withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin is notified.
