Maj. Gen. Timothy Green, Headquarters Air Force director of civil engineers, deputy chief of staff for logistics, engineering and force protection, provides feedback to Col. Bruce Cox, left, 307th Bomb Wing commander, and Col. Ty Neuman, 2nd Bomb Wing commander, at the conclusion of an evaluation by the Air Force Installation Excellence Selection Board at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Jan. 18, 2017. The IESB toured both Barksdale and Yokota Air Base, Japan, which are in contention for the 2017 Commander-in-Chief’s Installation Excellence Award. The winning installation will receive a $700,000 incentive award to invest in quality-of-life projects, as well as a commemorative commander-in-chief’s award trophy and flag and a congratulatory letter from the president.
