A B-52 Stratofortress takes off from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 26, 2016, headed to Moron Air Base, Spain. During the short-term deployment, three of the multi-role heavy bombers and more than 200 Airmen assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing will integrate and train with U.S. European Command components and regional partners by participating in Exercise Cold Response 16. U.S. Strategic Command and Air Force Global Strike Command routinely and visibly demonstrate U.S. commitment to allies, as well as global security, through joint and international training exercises such as these.
