A Wingman forged in blood, sweat, tears: New AFGSC commander builds foundation
Gen. Robin Rand, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, and his wife, Kim, introduce themselves to senior leaders at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 27, 2015. The Rands took part in a two-day immersion tour of Barksdale, home of AFGSC headquarters, to experience the operations of the 2nd Bomb Wing, which is one of six wings currently under AFGSC. The mission of the command is to develop and provide combat-ready forces for nuclear deterrence and global strike operations to support the President of the United States and combatant commanders.
