A B-52H Stratofortress prepares to land on Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, as part of a Constant Vigilance exercise May 13, 2015. Constant Vigilance is an annual Air Force Global Strike Command exercise designed to train and assess the command's ability to support its conventional and nuclear missions. AFGSC conducts training operations and exercises on a regular basis to ensure its forces are ready to perform nuclear deterrence operations and long-range strike missions when called upon to do so.
