A 2nd Bomb Wing crew chief communicates with a B-52H Stratofortress pilot while preparing to marshal an aircraft out for takeoff in support of a 35-hour, 14,000-mile nonstop sortie in support of Exercise Eager Lion 2015 at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., May 17, 2015. Eager Lion is one of USCENTCOM's premier exercises, and consists of a series of simulated scenarios to facilitate a coordinated, partnered military response to both conventional and unconventional threats. Participating in the exercise provides Air Force Global Strike Command aircrews valuable interoperability training with multinational forces outside the United States.
