Aircrew members from the 96th Bomb Squadron watch as a B-52H Stratofortress taxis for take-off in support of Exercise Eager Lion 2015 at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., May 17, 2015. Two B-52s from the 2nd Bomb Wing flew nonstop 35 hour, 14,000-mile round-trip from the United States to U.S. Central Command area of operations in support of the exercise. Supporting U.S. Strategic Command B-52 missions provides Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen with unique opportunities to integrate and train not only with U.S. Geographic Combatant Commands, but also Allies and partners in joint and coalition operations and exercises in order to enhance interoperability and cooperation.
