Fuels lab ensures clean, reliable fuel
Staff Sgt. Jason Flowers, 2nd Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels laboratory technician, checks the differential pressure gauge on an R-11 fuel truck at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 18, 2014. As fuel is being transferred through the filter, the differential pressure gauge will show the difference in pressure before and after it is transferred through the filter. A large difference indicates that the filters are either clogged up or the fuel has too many particles inside of it. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Benjamin Gonsier)
