Runners take off from the start of the championship wave during the alphARace at the East Reservation on Barksdale Air Force Base, July 13, 2013. More than 600 members of Team Barksdale and local community took on the 4.2 miles of woods, mud and obstacles. All runners received a swag bag with personalized dog tags, a t-shirt, drink voucher and race bib and also enjoyed camaraderie between Team Barksdale and the local communities over music and food.(U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
