2d Bomb Wing Vice takes off

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La.- Janet, Mac, and Ashley Anderson spray a fire hose at Col. West Anderson, 2d Bomb Wing Vice Commander, following his "fini" flight Nov. 25. Colonel Anderson is leaving the Wing to be the Director of Staff at 8th Air Force. The tradition of the "fini" flight dates back to the Vietnam War when pilots would celebrate their 100th flight with champagne. This flight totals over 3,216 flying hours for Colonel Anderson.
