Turning tragedy into opportunity
This Pirate Rubber Ducky was given to Staff Sgt. David Flowers by one of his nurses on Ward 57 at Walter Reed Medical Center. During his deployment, Sergeant Flowers had a Pirate moral patch on his body armor that survived the blast that took his right leg and severely injured his left leg.
