BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- Airman 1st Class Jazzlyn Guidry and Tech. Sgt. David Griffore, an Active Reserve Technician for the 717th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, perform a slat repair on an A-10 Thunderbolt March 18. ARTs are full-time Federal civil-service employees serving in a position that requires an active reserve assignment in a reserve unit. ARTs are ready reservists assigned to and training with the unit in which they are employed and must occupy an equivalent reserve military position with a comparable military rank or grade.
