Barksdale and Shreveport firefighters
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – Barksdale and Shreveport firefighters work together to extinguish a fire during their annual joint live fire training here April 7. This training allows firefighters the opportunity to train together, learn tactics and strategies employed by each agency and to build trust in the ability to interoperate at the scene of an emergency. It also allows the incident commanders the ability to setup and utilize a unified command structure as required by the National Incident Management System.
