Airmen help build new home
SHREVEPORT, La. – Homeowners Ralph and Michelle Hart and their children use their keys for the first time as they enter their new home following a dedication ceremony May 6. The Hart family was chosen to receive a Habitat for Humanity house after leaving New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Over the course of the 22-day construction project, more than 100 military personnel from Barksdale Air Force Base and the Shreveport Military Entrance Processing Station volunteered their time to give the Harts a new home.
