2d Bomb Wing Sports Day 2010
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – A participant in the 2d Bomb Wing Sports Day bicycle race rides her bike on the East Reservation July 1. This year the event was changed to accommodate ‘skinny tire’ and ‘fat tire’ bikes – skinny tires, also known as road bikes, are built for speed on a smooth surface whereas fat tires normally refer to commuter bikes or mountain bikes that are typically slower on pavement.
