The man, the Museum
Harold D. "Buck" Rigg, director 8th Air Force Museum, coordinates withe the 2nd Security Forces Squadron to escort the newly acquired SR-71 on Dec 11, 2003 to it's final resting place at the Eighth Air Force Museum. The SR-71 was reassembled and dedicated on Dec 17, 2003 which was the 100th anniversary of the first flight by Orville and Wilbur Wright at Kitty Hawk, NC. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt.
