New PT gear comes to Barksdale

Staff Sgt. Jessica Chebaro, 2nd Bomb Wing protocol, shops for new physical training gear at the military clothing sales store located on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Jan. 19. The new PT gear that was approved by Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz in April 2009 is the new and improved version of its predecessor based on Airman feedback. To enhance ventilation, the new design is made with a softer, nylon fabric that wicks moisture and breathes better, similar to exercise gear sold at off-base retailers.
