2 SFS Complex

The aerial photo shows the construction of the new 46,645 square-foot Security Forces Complex at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 14. The $14.6 million complex has a completion date of April 15 and will ensure the capability of a command and control center in one central location. The project, generated in 1998, finally broke ground in March 2010, and is located on Lindbergh Avenue, north of the Eighth Air Force Museum. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Alexandra M.
