The smoke trails of six B-52H Stratofortress’ can be seen fading into the distance over Barksdale Air Force Base, La., as a seventh aircraft takes-off March 10. Aircrafts from the 2nd Bomb Wing’s 20th and 96th Bomb Squadrons participated in the training event formerly known as a Minimal Interval Take-Off, now called a Large Force Departure. Barksdale completes Large Force Departure

The smoke trails of six B-52H Stratofortress’ can be seen fading into the distance over Barksdale Air Force Base, La., as a seventh aircraft takes-off March 10. Aircrafts from the 2nd Bomb Wing’s 20th and 96th Bomb Squadrons participated in the training event formerly known as a Minimal Interval Take-Off, now called a Large Force Departure.
