Ms. Ann Mitchell, Air Force Global Strike director of installations, logistics and mission support was the guest speaker during the Women's Heritage Luncheon at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., March 15. Ms. Mitchell is responsible for organizing, training and equipping the command's civil engineer, contracting, logistics, maintenance, munitions and security forces squadrons totaling 13,000 personnel. Women's History Month is commemorated March 1-31. The observance recognizes and celebrates the diverse and historic accomplishments of women throughout the world.
