Barksdale children take the drug-free pledge with Col. Thomas Hesterman, 2nd Bomb Wing vice commander, and friends on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 27. Hesterman was joined by Chief Master Sgt. Larry Malcom, 2 BW command chief, Sparky the fire mascot and McGruff the crime fighting dog, to take the drug-free pledge at the Red Ribbon Week pledge event at the Youth Center.
