Do you see PAPI?
A Precision Approach Path Indicator sits ready for aircraft Dec. 12 on Barksdale Air Force Base, La. The PAPI has red and white lights seen by aircrew to notify them if their landing approach is too high or too low. Airmen from the 2nd Operations Support Squadron airfield management flight perform maintenance several times a year to ensure the PAPIs are functioning properly.
