Million dollar question
"The Wood Craft Center is in need of a larger workspace, new equipment, more storage and better ventilation," said Airman 1st Class Dominique Atkins, 2nd Logistics Readiness Squadron. "Barksdale produces several award winners, so the center generally produces most of the plaques and shadow boxes, and even the flag boxes given to retirees. Many may not actually go to the Wood Craft Shop and enjoy the ability to create and design things out of wood, but several military, retiree and dependant members at some point in time will need the staff of the Wood Craft Center to create a last minute project. The amount of work that comes through the wood center is a great work load for the three members but with better spacing, storage, and equipment we can continue to make fine works of art that we can all enjoy."
