Bossier Fire trains on Barksdale

Spencer Dunn, Bossier City firefighter, dons an oxygen tank on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Dec. 20. The tank allows fire-fighters to breathe clean air for approximately 40 minutes. Firefighters are also equipped with a personal alert safety system which helps notify other emergency response personnel with loud noises and a flashing strobe in the event a fire-fighter becomes incapacitated.
