Parachute packing
Airman 1st Class David Geyer, 11th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, connects a pilot parachute canister to the bottom of a drogue parachute hatch on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 21. The canister uses spring force to pull a small parachute out. The force of the pilot chute pulls a much larger chute which is used to slow down a B-52H Stratofortress during landing.
