Joint Chiefs of Staff directed exercise

Aircrew members start the engines of a B-52H Stratofortress on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 20. Barksdale contributed two B-52s and respective aircrew members to participate in a Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed exercise which lasted approximately 17 hours.
