Aircraft structural MXS supports the mission
Senior Airman Colton McCall, 2nd Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight aircraft structural maintenance journeyman, uses a pneumatic drill to perform a permanent repair on the cracked skin of a wheel-well door on a B-52H Stratofortress bomber on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 10. Repairing skin cracks is vital in maintaining the structural integrity of the aircraft. Without proper structural integrity, the bomber would not be able to safely complete its mission.
