B-52H Student Aviators

Graduates and their family members along with instructors and students from the 11th Bomb Squadron Formal Training Unit tour a static B-52H Stratofortress after the graduation ceremony for FTU Class 12-01 on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Jul 10. FTU is a nine month course for pilots, navigators and electronic warfare officers out of their initial flight training. The course consists of academic studies, simulators and flight training where the students gain the experience and confidence to operate a B-52.
