A B-52H Stratofortress takes off from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 13. The aircraft departed to participate in the Red Flag exercise at Nellis AFB, Nev. Red Flag provides realistic combat scenarios for aircrews from the U.S., NATO and allied countries.
