Multicultural Day

The Gems of Cairo perform a dance routine for members of Team Barksdale during Multicultural Day on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 20. The group, based in Shreveport, La., performs Egyptian-style folkloric and cabaret dance. Their name is derived from the city of Cairo, which is the capital of Egypt, and the largest city in the Arab world.
