Combat Hammer
Airmen from the 2nd Maintenance Operations Squadron weapons standardization section maneuver an inert GBU-31 joint direct attack munition before loading it onto a B-52H Stratofortress on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug 14. The JDAM is equipped with telemetry which provides feedback about the bomb's trajectory and speed.
