Protecting the flightline and its resources

Airman 1st Class Matthew Sebey, 2nd Security Forces Squadron patrolman, holds a M249 light machine gun on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 10. One out of every five consecutive rounds will have a yellow tipped tracer bullet, which ignites when fired and allows the trajectory of the round to be seen by the naked eye. When used at night, tracer rounds help Airmen see where their bullets are going to ensure accuracy. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Benjamin Gonsier)(RELEASED)
