Bataan Death March survivors honored by Barksdale leadership
Maj. Gen. Stephen Wilson, 8th Air Force commander, presents Bataan Death March survivor James Bollich with a medal on behalf of the Philippines at Boomtown Casino, Bossier City, La., Sept. 3. Bollich and four other survivors who visited Barksdale Air Force Base, La., endured a grueling 70-plus mile march through the Philippines during World War II in 1942.
