Staff Sgt. David Cordes, 2nd Maintenance Squadron aircraft metals technology craftsman, uses a hand jog to manually move the quill and table on a computer numerical control mill on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Sept. 18. Although usually automated, the mill can be controlled by hand to create aircraft brackets, test fixtures and anything else need to support the aircraft.
