Seal Inspection

Senior Airman Jacob McDonald, 2nd Maintenance Squadron phase crew chief, inspects a freshly installed B-half sealant around a Miniature Receiver Transmitter Ray-dome radar on a B-52H Stratofortress on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 3. McDonald checked the seal to ensure it was dry and extended beyond the edges of adjoining pieces. The sealant is used to prevent leaks and corrosion.
