One busy day
Airmen exposed to a simulated hazardous substance explain how they were contaminated to firefighters from the 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron during a major accident response exercise on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 12. Before the Airmen could proceed through the decontamination area, firefighters had to hose them down with water and quarantine them until paramedics arrived. While in quarantine, Airmen told the rescuers they were exposed to a white powdery substance in the Warrior Center's dining facility. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Micaiah Anthony)(RELEASED)
