2 MUNS demonstrates CALCM readiness
Conventional Air-Launched Cruise Missiles are lined up in a 2nd Munitions Squadron facility on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 25. Once a CALCM is launched from a B-52H Stratofortress, the missile's wings deploy and the fuel system activates, putting the missile in free flight. Each CALCM weighs approximately 3,500 pounds.
