2012 Global Strike Challenge

Airmen from the 2nd Bomb Wing pose for a photo during the 2012 Global Strike Challenge score posting at Hoban Hall on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 7. The GSC is an amalgam of the best of the historic bomb competition and the former missile competition held under previous major commands that owned the missile and bomber missions at the time. The challenge is unique when compared to those competitions because it includes operations, maintenance and security forces participants from both the missile and bomber communities under the Air Force Global Strike Command. It also welcomes teams and weapon systems from other major commands. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Benjamin Gonsier)(RELEASED)
