Blue Angels visit Barksdale

An F/A-18 Hornet from the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Team Blue Angels taxis into a parking spot on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 19. The Blue Angels are comprised of pilots, maintainers and support servicemen from the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines Corps and represent the best of the best their respective services have to offer. U.S. Navy Lt. Ryan Chamberlain and Lt. Cmdr. Michael Cheng visited Barksdale to start preliminary preparations with base organizations for the 2013 Defenders of Liberty Airshow scheduled for May 4-5.
