Senior Airman Princeton Drake, 20th Aircraft Maintenance Unit crew chief, connects a liquid oxygen servicing hose to a filter valve on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Jan. 8. Liquid oxygen is transferred into three converters, each capable of holding up to 25 liters on the B-52H Stratofortress. The liquid oxygen is used to assist aircrew in breathing during flight.
