Instructions on new equipment

Jason Paas, Asphalt Zipper Company, instructs Airmen assigned to the 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron heavy repair section on the use of new equipment received on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 6. The heavy repair section, also known as the "Dirt Boys", received a new piece of equipment called the Asphalt Zipper, which grinds down and strips worn pavement to form an even base for new pavement to be laid over.
