Maintainers ensure B-52 fit for flight

Airman 1st Class Shelby Bates, 2nd Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight, looks for corrosion inside a B-52H Stratofortress on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 8. When corrosion is found on a B-52, 2 MXS Fab Flight Airmen will grind the corroded area to bare metal and place a primer over it to prevent further corrosion.
