"Dirt Boys" maintain base infrastructure
Airman 1st Class Cameron Kruell, 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron Heavy Repair Section, carefully observes the blade of a walk behind saw on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., March 6. Kruell ensured the blade stayed on the right path and was not overheating. The heavy repair section, also known as the "Dirt Boys," have the responsibility of maintaining and setting up Barksdale's infrastructure ranging from roads and pavement, construction projects and Barksdale's flightline.
