Connect, Inspect and Protect: Family Advocacy car seat safety event
An Airmen demonstrates the correct and incorrect ways to secure a child safety seat. The Family Advocacy program is teaming up with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Department under the motto "Connect, Inspect, and Protect" to ensure child safety seats are installed properly. There will be car seat checkpoints set up at the Child Development Centers on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., April 26, 2013 where volunteers, who have been trained in proper car seat installation, can verify a participants car seat has been installed properly, and if not, will properly install it for them.
