Sweeping the dirt away
A street sweeper from the 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron Heavy Repair section cleans a road on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., April 25, 2013. Street sweepers help maintain Barksdale's infrastructure by removing dirt and debris from the roads, and more importantly, foreign object debris on the flightline. FOD is harmful to both personnel and aircraft alike since it can be sucked into an aircraft's engine or blown about and potentially cause injuries. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Andrew Moua)
