Important Notice! West Gate construction and closure Published Dec. 1, 2008 By Staff Reports BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- The West gate will be under construction today through Dec. 21. The West gate will be closed to outbound traffic from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Dec. 9-21. All West gate traffic after 8:30 a.m. will be re-routed during this time frame to allow one inbound lane and one outbound lane. Drivers should use an alternate gate entry and expect minor delays.
