Barksdale's tax office opens doors for 2010 Published Jan. 22, 2010 By Special Report Barksdale Tax Center BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- Base tax center volunteers are now available to assist Barksdale personnel with filing their 2009 tax return. The 2d Bomb Wing tax center is located in the Trailer Building No. T4561, located at the corner of Twining and Douhet Drives, west of the commissary and dental clinic. Hours of operation are from 8-10 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for appointments. Walk-in hours are from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Many Barksdale units have Volunteer Income Tax Assistance representatives who can e-file federal returns. Active-duty military members and their dependents may contact their unit's VITA representative to schedule an appointment.
